Skirack hosts Wednesday Night Worlds XC Race Series at Sleepy Hollow. Races Start at 6:30pm, and they are mass start (usually). Registration open from online from a few days before to the race til 6:29pm on the day of the race. All types of racers are welcome – from never have raced before up through competitive racers. Race distances are usually 2.5km (1 lap), and 5km (2 lap) – you can choose at sign in time. You also choose your technique – classic or skate. No fluoro’s this year – hydrocarbon waxes only (CH)! We’re going to help save the world!! Come on out and give it a try. Prizes from Skirack based on number of races attended, and awarded after the last race of the season. Faster skiers should line up near the front, and slower skiers towards the rear.

THE SkiRack Wednesday Night World’s Race Series Every Wednesday Night in January and February.

  • Sign up online here before 6:29pm every Wednesday (You can also sign up and pay for the race when you arrive at Sleepy, but we encourage you to sign up online ahead of time if possible).  Remember your bib# and you’ll pick it up on the porch Wednesday Night.  Race results found on same link.  (google doc will be posted here in days before first race to sign up on.)

  • You can pay online in the days leading up to each race, or pay when you arrive at Sleepy Hollow. https://sleepyhollowstore.square.site/
  • Potlucks are back every Wednesday Night.
  • Race on Wednesday Night will usually be a mass start.

We plan to again have a low key kids race (ages 4-12) starting at 6:05pm. Race distance for the kids race will be 1.2km, or 2km.

  • $17 Entry Fee (includes night skiing trail pass).
  • $10 High School or Bill Koch race entry fee, or season pass holder.
  • $40 for race pass for all 9 races for Season Pass holders
  • $70 for race pass if you don’t have a season’s pass at Sleepy Hollow but want to do most of the races

2020 Wednesday Night Worlds Presented by The Skirack

Thanks everyone for a great season! We had all 9 races this year (none canceled for the first time ever?). We had about 130 unique racers this season, and 4 of them had perfect attendance. Congratulations to Eric Darling, Jamie Willsey, Patrick Cofferky, and Alan Cote!
